| Amsoils website only talks abut Saber for handheld equipment (weed-wackers, etc)  If you email them they will deny that Saber is for motorcycles: here's my email to Amsoil: "If Dominator is being successfully used in a 250cc motocross bike, then what ratio should be used for the same bike with Saber?" answer from techservicemail@amsoil.com : "The Saber Professional is not recommended for powersports applications. It is only designed for use in hand held power equipment, such as leaf blowers, weed trimmers, etc. "  People bring up that Amsoil used to state on the back of their bottle that it can also be used in motorcycles and snowmbiles. They probably changed it after too many reports were received about damaged engines due to using it at 80:1 or 100:1 which are weed wacker ratios. If you insist on using it for a motorcycle please use it at 45:1 which is what my oil ratio calculator says it shuld be used at according to its viscosity in a dirt bike.  |
