First wet the 3" square cloth pads or 2 washcloths (needed when Rifing from feet to hands) with tap water. Open each alligator clip. (the clips look like an alligator head when viewed from the side. You squeeze onto the insulator to get the mouth to open.) Clip onto the pads or cloths with the output alligator clips of the Amplifier. The pads are sewn such that there are a couple 'gaps' that leave enough room between stitches for one of the alligator 'jaws' to sandwich in between its layers of cloth. Do that with both of the clips and cloth pads. The reasoning here is that you want one side of the cloth to not have any metal which can touch your skin which can irritate or even damage it. So only the 'metal free' side will be the side which touches the body of the patient. Keep the pads from touching each other. Turn the range switch to have the desired range of frequencies for the first frequency you want to use from the Rife frequency list. Then turn the power knob to medium position. Next turn ON the unit and turn the Medium and Fine frequency dials to the center position, then turn the Coarse dial until the digital display shows it is close to the frequency you want. Then use the Medium and Fine tuning knobs to get the exact frequency you want. (If targetting a frequency above 3000 then the adjustment needs to be made while the pads are in contact with the body. Also above 1000 the true frequency is seen only when your fingers aren't touching the adjustment knobs, so adjust and then release to see the true frequency.) Next press the TEST button on the Amplifier and look at the light emitting diode next to it to see that both red and green is visible (only below 15,000). (This verifies the output of the unit is oscillating and that the 9 volt batteries inside it are good. When the lights will no longer come on is when the batteries need to be changed. If only one light is on, then the unit is bad. Expect the lights to blink alternately between red and green below 30 hz.) Place the pad electrodes on opposite sides of the body area you want to treat if it is a localized problem. If it's a systemic problem then use washcloths (100% cotton is preferred) and put your feet on one and hold the other with your hands and don't let the skin of your hands or arm touch the skin of another part of your body which would also allow a diversion of the electric current to keep it from going through your arms. If using the pads then don't touch them with your hands to hold them in place but instead use plastic or something made of cloth to insulate the electrodes from your hands. Also they could be held in place with elastic such as from old underwear. Then turn the Output knob slowly clockwise until you feel a slight tingle (usually experienced only at frequencies below 780) and then turn it back a little so that you don't feel the tingle. You don't have to feel anything for it to be effective. Higher knob settings give the cleanest output signal and more electricity. The only exception to not turning it to where you start to feel it is when you are directly treating the intestinal area which needs low power to keep from killing good bacteria and to prevent a problem people with Candida and Leaky Gut Syndrome often have. (The electricity causes waste to be absorbed into the lymph fuid through the 'holes'.) If fighting a microbe, then use each desired frequency no more than 3 minutes the first day and if you don't feel too 'sickly' the next day as a result of using it then you can increase the usage time. If the cleansing reaction is strong then you can wait up to 3 days for them to subside before using it again. You may not ever be able to do more than 5 minutes, which is OK. Its just that increasing exposure time usually speeds recovery, so for fastest healing its best to use it as much as 10 minutes. ('Enhancing' frequencies can be used more than 10 minutes.) |
